Here in sunny, funny Northern California we have four seasons: Mud, Flood, Fire and Earthquake. Fall (Mud) is rapidly changing to Winter (Flood) and it looks like it will be a wet one as shown by this photo that I took a few minutes ago. Enjoy.
I took this photo with my new iPhone 5 and made edits in Snapseed.

Lovely color.
It is from our Japanese maple tree and I, too, love the color.
We never get to see leaves in this color in my part of the world, just different shades of green
I know the feeling, I grew up in South Florida and it was like living on a billiard table.
How nice! Looks unreal!
Thanks, I caught the morning light at just the right time today.
Timing is really quite important when taking any snap..Hope you’d catch more beautiful images.
Your post was so funny! Where I live it’s flood, ice, tornadoes and rednecks. They burn tires in the road when boredom sets in. What a beautiful leaf, we are so dry here we never have pretty leaves.
I checked out your blog and enjoy what I’ve read so far. Bookmark this post and you can have a pretty leaf whenever you want one.
Thanks for stopping by.
I like your four seasons. It’s fun how different places in the world have sayings like that
Those sayings have a lot of truth behind them.
Absolutely. We have two seasons. Winter and road construction.
I love it!
very beautiful photo and colors. It feels… right!
Thanks. It was beautiful outside this morning.
